(B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Baghdad University 1971-1972, College of Engineering (Good Degree, 5th / 63 students).
• Experience Summary :-
About Forty four years in different mechanical fields, among them (40) years in the field of executing various petroleum industry projects, and training its staff (Iraq Ministry of Oil – Stat Company for Oil Project / SCOP)
• Employment History :-
• Junior Mechanical Engineer: 1972-1976 Maintenance of heavy Machinery in (Civil and Army Sectors) (Ministry of Agriculture. Reforming and Ministry of Defense).
• Assistant Engineer: Assistant site const. Manager and all Mechanical activities engineer for P/L 1976-1979 Construction Engineer, in charge of all Pipeline cross-country construction including activities, executing the intermediate & ends stations and its networks: Pumping, Reduction and Metering station and hydro testing start-up and commissioning belong to these projects in particular.
• Engineer: – 1980-1984 construction Engineer and assistant manager of construction petroleum projects, in charge of construction different groups, such as P/L welding over – ditch coating group, pre. Feb. Workshops, sites which etc…., its task is execution of station net work and preparing the welders staff and welding procedures related to these activities.
• During the year 1985 : I was one of four engineers group representing the Iraqi Ministry of Oil in Saudi Arabia to supervise the construction of (48 inches X 487Km) Iraqi – Pipeline trans – Saudi Arabia crude oil exporting line (IPSA -Project) . As Double jointing SCOP’S SITE MANAGER AT Al _ Qahtani Terminal at Al – Damman and the as Assistant site manager for Pumping Station at Rummah .
• Senior Engineer: 1986-1993. Manager in field of Pipelines construction, tanks project & site engineer in charge for training of the staff and trainees of (Baghdad Petroleum Training Institute) through preparing theoretical and practical curriculum and supervising their summer training course at site.
• Chief of Engineers: 1994-1996. Assistant Director of (Middle Operations Division), since this division is in charge of executing all petroleum projects for various sectors in Ministry of Oil , Which includes Piping Depots , Assisting designing & Construction of Pipeline Systems , Station and other related facilities for P/L.
• From 1996-2000 : Officially recruited to Libyan Petroleum Committee for and preparing engineers and technicians staff in the field of (piping & fitting fabrication trade ) according to (City & Guild of London Institute) requirements , and preparing instruction and courses in this field at Al – Zawiya Refinery Specific Training Center .
• From 2001-2003: Join back Scop’s Oil Projects as Construction Coordinator (SCOP Home Office).
• From 2003-2004: Head of P/L Construction Dept. (SCOP.H.O.) This Dept. responsible for Construction all new P/LS and related facilities all over Iraq for MoO. Projects
• From 2004-2006: Head of Construction Management Dept. (SCOP. H.O.) This Dept. is responsible for all activities of different Oil Projects rather than P/LS.
• From 2006-2008: Head of Construction supervision and follow – up Establishment this Dept. is responsible for Coordination between different Depts. Such as Designing procurement, machineries and const. equip. etc…
• On the Year 2009: MoO, De – Centralized the Oil Projects Construction activities, I was assigned as (Oil Project Manager) at (SCOP.H.O.) for (big-inch) new P/LS.
• On Arp. 2010: I was promoted to SCOP’S Director General Assistant and first Director General Deputy.
• On 2011: nominated as project manager beside the above position for major infrastructure export pipelines system through Syria, Turkey and Jordan.
• On Dec. 30th 2016 I was retired from Gov. service.
• Started working with private sector contractors as Oil and Gas project Consultant.
